As part of Foundation Stage and Year 2's learning this term, we were delighted to welcome a nurse, paramedic, and an ambulance to the school last Friday. The visit gave children a fantastic opportunity to learn about the vital roles of healthcare professionals, ask questions, and even explore an ambulance up close. The highlight for many was hearing the sirens in action, adding to the excitement of the day! The children also had great fun practising their own bandaging techniques through imaginative doctor and nurse role play. It was an engaging and memorable experience for all!

Charity Sports Tournament at CCS! On Monday 17th, CCS was proud to host a charity sports tournament for schools across Northampton. It was a close tournament, with the quality demonstrated from both football and netball being impressive. NSB ultimately came out on top for the netball, winning all of their games. For the football, CCS teams finished first and second in the league, yet were both knocked out in the semi-final, with EWS seeing out a 2-0 win in the final over Wootton Park. CCS teams were triumphant in raising the most money for charity, with £147 going to the great cause of The Salvation Army. This was not only a fun afternoon of sport, but helped strengthen the community of Northampton sixth forms, and we hope this will inspire more events! - Written by Year 13 student, Tiana Knox - Sports Committee writer Well done to all the Sixth Form students and a big thank you to all those who helped out with the event and supported their fundraiser. #CCSSport #CharityTournament #CommunityThroughSport
