Our Year 8 student, Daniel, has always had a passion for drama, which first blossomed during his primary school years. His enthusiasm grew after participating in The Tempest, where he took on the role of Ariel, inspired by Silhouette Youth Theatre’s collaboration with his school.

Motivated by this experience, Daniel began attending Silhouette’s sessions on Saturdays. It wasn’t long before his talent shone through, leading to him being actively involved in performances.

In July 2023, Daniel achieved a significant milestone when he was cast as Oliver in Silhouette's Youth Theatre production of Oliver! Over the past few months, the cast has worked tirelessly to perfect the show, culminating in an incredible four performances over two days last weekend. Daniel embraced the iconic role, making it truly his own.

Beyond Silhouette, Daniel is also an active member of our drama and musical theatre community here at Caroline Chisholm School, where he continues to develop his skills. With Elf just two weeks away, he’s excited to take the stage once again, and we can't wait to see him perform!
