Isaac Physics Gold Award

Isaac Physics is a project funded by and based at the University of Cambridge.

It aims to empower all students to achieve their full potential in physics with free access to high-quality STEM learning resources, irrespective of the student's location, background, school or environment.

Isaac Physics offers a comprehensive collection of problems for students at all levels, from KS3 to advanced learners at A level, with instant feedback to guide their progress. In addition to these resources, Isaac Physics provides outreach opportunities, including webinars and in-house masterclasses, along with professional development for teachers, all of which are designed to inspire and support students in their pursuit of physics.

With regular use of Isaac Physics problem-solving, students develop the fluency and ability in physical and mathematical analysis that is required for a wide range of post-GCSE and post-A level destinations, including university, apprenticeships and other career pathways. Educational research undertaken over several years supports these findings, and the Isaac Physics brand is highly respected by schools, universities, and employers alike.

Our school is proud to have been awarded Embedded School Status at Gold Level, a prestigious recognition given to schools that have effectively embedded Isaac Physics into their curriculum, providing students with consistent access to its resources and promoting Isaac Physics activities.

This achievement reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality physics education and offering students unique opportunities for growth, which include outreach programs in partnership with the University of Cambridge and Oxford, which help them reach their full potential and explore physics at a deeper level.
