A show jumping star!
We are honoured to share the success of Year 7 student, Emily Buckley, who has been representing CCS in equestrian sports this year. She rides her own pony, which she has taught everything to herself.
Her incredible talent has been recognised with a number of awards, including:
- 2nd place in the 80cm and 1st place in the 90cm, show jumping at Pickering Grange
- 11th out of 37 entrants in dressage at Bury Farm
- 4th out of 27 entrants in the 80cm, eventing at Swalcliffe. This fantastic result means she has qualified for the schools equestrian games championships in September.
She is also set to represent her pony club at Chatsworth International Horse Trials in the team show jumping later this month. We wish you lots of luck at the upcoming competition, Emily, and look forward to hearing how you get on!
