Rose's Journey in Dance
We are thrilled to spotlight Rose, a year 9 student and talented young dancer whose journey in the world of dance has been nothing short of spectacular.
Rose's passion for dance ignited at the tender age of two when she began her ballet lessons. As she grew older, her artistic endeavours expanded to the world of musical theatre, where she flourished for a number of years.
Photo However, it was at the age of seven that Rose discovered ballroom and Latin dancing, setting the stage for a wonderful journey ahead.
Throughout her primary school years, Rose proudly represented Caroline Chisholm School, competing in Dancing Schools at the Royal & Derngate theatre.
Today, Rose is making waves across the country, competing in the Solo National and Super League competitions. Her dedication and hard work have taken her to iconic venues like the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool, where she has had the privilege of showcasing her talent in front of esteemed celebrity dancers and judges, including the likes of Shirley Ballas from Strictly Come Dancing, Amy Dowden, and AJ Pritchard.
We are thrilled to announce Rose's recent achievement of securing two first places in the highly competitive under 16s Latin category at the Oxfordshire Titles, along with impressive second and third-place finishes in ballroom events. Her success is a testament to her unwavering commitment, talent, and passion for dance.
We look forward to witnessing her continued growth and success as she continues to pursue her dreams in the world of dance.
