Year 7 competes in first triathlon

We are thrilled to share that Sofia Bell, a Year 7 student, recently competed in her very first triathlon! Inspired by her dad's completion of his first Ironman last year, Sofia decided to give triathlons a try and hasn't looked back since.

Sofia participated in the UK Henley Kids Triathlon, organised by UKTriathlons, in the Silver Category. This challenging event included a 100m swim, a 4km bike ride, and a 2km run. Sofia is an avid swimmer and cyclist and often takes part in the Salcey Forest park run on weekends.

Sofia demonstrated incredible determination and perseverance, completing the triathlon in an impressive time of 42 minutes and 8 seconds. What an incredible display of athletics!

Looking ahead, Sofia hopes to compete in the next level in August in York.

Congratulations, Sofia, on this remarkable accomplishment! We look forward to seeing you continue to excel in your future sporting endeavours.
