Cross-Country Success
On Saturday 20 January, 14 students from CCS represented South Northamptonshire at the Cross-Country Championships. It was fantastic that students from Year 6 all the way up to Year 12 were representing the school and South Northamptonshire. These students were selected to represent South Northamptonshire after placing in the top 20 at the district cross-country event.
Students F. Carty, E. Taylor, J. Twining and L. Turner all ran brilliantly, securing their spots in the inter-counties Anglian Cup which took place on Saturday 3 February.
After great performances at both the County Championships and the Anglian Trophy Meeting, J. Twining and L. Turner have been selected to represent Northamptonshire at the English Schools Cross Country event against the 45 other Counties across England – A great achievement!
